General Rules
To play video poker, you click the “coin” icon to specify
the value of credits you want to play with. The payout scale for video
poker is shown when you click on the “Payouts” button.
You can bet anywhere from one to five credits at a time. You have two
options in betting:
- Hit the “bet one” button once for each credit you wish to bet per
hand
- Hit the “bet max” button once to bet five credits per hand. Clicking
on Bet Max will place the maximum bet and automatically start the intitial
deal without you having to push the Deal button.
Once you have placed your bet you can click the “Deal” button to receive
your cards.
Five cards appear on the screen after he hit the deal
button. At this point you must choose the cards you want to keep. You
are allowed one re-deal and one chance to draw anywhere from zero to five
new cards. Each card must be individually selected if you wish to keep
it. Your selected cards are indicated by the word “held” being displayed
across the kept card. Cards marked by the word held will not be replaced
when you draw new cards. You can easily change your mind about keeping
a card by selecting it a second time. The held notation then disappears
from across the previously selected card.
If you have a pat hand (five good cards), you can choose
to keep all of the cards and not draw any new cards. Conversely, you can
choose to discard all of your cards and draw five new cards
When you are ready to draw new cards, you click the deal
button. The cards not marked by the word held will be replaced, resulting
in your final hand. If you win, you accumulate credits that are deposited
directly into your account.
