General Rules
Casino War is based on the Children's card game, War. Very
simply, the highest card wins. The player is dealt a card and then the dealer
is a dealt a card. Whichever value is higher, wins the wager.
In the event of a tie, the player is given two choices:
- Surrender - the player loses the hand and forfeits half of the bet
- Go to War - the player must raise his bet by the an amount equal to the
original wager and go to War
Going to War
The player raises his/her bet by an amount to equal to the original wager and
clicks on "Go To War". The dealer will then discard the next three cards in the
deck and deal a card face up to the player then one to him/herself. If the
player's second card is equal to or greater than the dealer's second card, the
player wins the War battle and wins an amount equal to his/her raise wager and
the original wager will push. If the player's second card is less than the dealer's
second card than the player loses both the original and raise wagers.
Tie Side Bet
At any time before the player clicks deal, the player can choose to place a "Tie"
wager. This is done by placing an amount on the Tie spot. If the player's and
dealer's first card tie, then the player is paid out at 10-1. This wager does
not count for any cards dealt during a war.
